Labor And Childbirth Tips

Labor and childbirth are some of the most intense times of the cycle of pregnancy. You have to go through immense amount of pain, but the end result is worth it! If you have ever taking a birthing class, they consistently tell you to practice the breathing exercises, and trust me it definitely helps! When you start having contractions, the pain is going to come in waves, and you need a way to calm down your muscles so that they don’t cramp and contract. Breathing in a circular rhythm will actually control the contraction pains and make the pain that much more bearable. Trust me, you are still going to go through pain, but the difference is like putting you hand on a hot stove then in molten lava. The degrees are that different. Childbirth, in my opinion was definitely the hard part about being pregnant. Waking up stiff and sore from carrying the baby was bearable as long as you do stretches and arch your back (and have a supportive husband!). But going through 1 hour of immense pain completely took the cake. I was just glad that the journey was coming to an end and that we will soon have another bundle of joy in our family. It definitely gets easier over time, but something always comes up thats unexpected. If you have a chance to take pain killers, or an epidural, that is up to a personal preference. I did get an epidural, and I was glad that I did. You would want one after the first wave of contractions come. So remember, breathe, painkillers, and support are my way to get through labor and childbirth!
